IMPERANON Parts Ways With Bassist, Announces Replacement
August 5, 2006Finnish melodic thrash/death metallers IMPERANON have issued the following update:
"Since Eki Nurmikari [bass] had to go to the Great Southern Germany after his work, he couldn't be part of IMPERANON no longer, for no more than practical reasons. Eki leaving, we faced another line-up change in the band. After long discussions between the remaining four, we came to one solution out of many. As the result, the IMPERANON line-up from now on is as follows:
Aleksi Sihvonen - Guitar, Vocals
Teemu Mäntysaari - Guitar
Jaakko Nylund - Drums
Aki Hopeasaari - Bass
Aleksi Virta - Keyboards
"We are writing and recording new material for the future releases. New aspects have been brought to our music and we're all really enthusiastic about it."
IMPERANON's debut album, "Stained", was released in May 2004 through Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at Sonic Pump Studios with engineer Nino Laurenne and producer Titus Hjelm and was mixed at Finnvox studios with Mikko Karmila.
